One of my favorite things to do each month, is to head to the nearby casino, enjoy some live entertainment, gamble some money and hopefully win some along the way. I am very fortunate to be living nearby the fantastic Bicycle Hotel and Casino which has one of the largest casino floors in the country, giving us visitors plenty of chances to win.
Whenever I have friends or colleagues visiting, I will usually take them to the casino and I am often surprised by how few people have visited a casino before. I understand that they can be slightly intimidating but they offer a truly wonderful experience and here are just a few reasons why I think everyone should visit a casino at some point during their life.
Winning Money
Winning money is not the be all and end all of visiting a casino, but it can make the entire experience feel a hell of a lot better. There is a real thrill to winning some money, even if it is just a few dollars and I’d urge everyone to try and do so in a casino. Very often there are simple games which you can play without pressure where you can try to win some cash, or you could even just jump on the slot machines if other casino games scare you.
People Watching
One of my favorite things to do inside the casino is to watch what the people are doing. I love to see the high rollers laying big money down on the cars table, I also love to watch the newcomers, arriving for the first time with their eyes wide open and of course, I love to watch those who look like they have lost it all, not wishing to leave, but having no choice. You see people from every single corner of society in a casino and this is worth the admission alone.
Entertainment
Casinos very often put on entertainment which you can see as you are gambling, some will have cabaret singers, others will have dancers or gymnasts and all other manner of entertaining features. A trip to the casino is about far more than just playing games and I love to see something else going on whilst you spend some time in the casino.
Playing Games
Even if I wasn’t gambling or trying to win money in the casino, I would still love to play on the games that you can find there. I have a real passion for poker and I love the excitement of games such as roulette and blackjack. This sis why so many people love casinos even if they only bet a small amount of money, the thrill of playing the games alone is enough entertainment to keep anyone happy during their time in a casino.
